How it works
Pool Rules
The box format
Every team picks one option from each box:
- 9 forward boxes (F1–F9)
- 6 defence boxes (D1–D6)
- 4 team-goalie boxes (TGA, TGC, TGM, TGP) — you pick an NHL team's goaltending
- 3 additional skaters (AS1–AS3) from the additional skater list
Scoring
| Skater goal | 2 pts |
| Skater assist | 1 pt |
| Team goalie win | 2 pts |
| Team goalie shutout | 4 pts |
A team's total is the sum of all its picks. Teams tied on points share the same rank.
Pick swaps
At the halfway point of the season, each team may either:
- swap two players from a predetermined group (F1–F9, D1–D6, or team goalies), or
- swap one additional skater.
A swapped-in pick only earns points from the moment it's swapped in. The swapped-out player keeps the points they had at the time of the swap.
Weekly updates
Standings are updated weekly from the pool spreadsheet. Rank movement compares each week against the previous update.
